Appearance
Operating Principle
 The variable buoyancy force exerted on a stationary
displacer immersed in a liquid is transferred to a strain
gauge pressure transducer through a torque tube.
The pressure transducer thus turns according to the
changing liquid levels into proportional electric current.
The operating buoyancy of the displacer varies with
liquids since buoyancy is a function of the liquid density,
and the operating buoyancy is maintained by adjusting
the balance spring.
