7900P-1AS Portable Gas Analyzer，Heat Treating and Other Hydrogen-Based Industrial Processes, Single Gas Analyzers, Combustibles = CO x 2
The Nova Model 7900P Series Heat Treat analyzers utilize a three channel high stability infrared detector for the simultaneous measurement of CO, CO2, and CH4 in exothermic or endothermic gas mixtures. In addition, the analyzer can be supplied with a fully compensated thermal conductivity cell for H2. A separate O2 detector can also be supplied for measuring low (PPM) or percent levels of oxygen in the atmosphere gas stream. Dew point is detected by a dielectric ceramic sensor and is available in standard and low ranges. All detected gases have a separate LCD digital readout and a linear recorder output. The customer may choose any combination of gases to be measured.

The 7900P series analyzers are complete with integral sampling pump, rechargeable battery, filters, flow meter, and sampling hose. Solenoid valves are used to isolate low range dew point and O2 sensors during purges and when analyzer is not in use to prevent ambient air contamination of the sensors and greatly reduce purge time during start-up.

The Nova 8000 series has been designed for the continuous monitoring of pre-cleaned gases from a blast furnace or other high intensity, continuous industrial processes. The analyzer measures up to four gases simultaneously - O2, CO, CO2, and H2, the ranges of which are shown below. From these readings, other operating parameters such as nitrogen content, BTU and efficiency can be calculated and displayed.
The analyzer consists of three main components : a heated filter cabinet which is directly mounted on the side of the blast furnace gas main, a sample conditioning system which is integral to the main analyzer cabinet, and the gas analysis sensors which are mounted in a separate but integral rack mount drawer, which eases service and maintenance.

Other gases can be included as part of this platform, including CH4, SO2, NO, and NO2 in % or PPM ranges.
